Growing up too fast.....

James has been such a joy to have in our family. He just started saying, "dada....dada....dada" and "mama....mama....mama." He thoroughly enjoys interacting with his brother and sister, playing with his blanket, and bath time. I love seeing him grow and change, but I hate to see him grow up so fast.


He recently had his six month checkup and below are his measurements.

Weight: 20 lbs. 9 oz. (75-90th percentile for his age)
Height: 28 1/4 inches (75-90th percentile for his age)
Head: 41 cm (95th percentile for his age)


Caleb and James have been very similar in their size as babies. It will be intersting to see if this pattern continues. At six months Caleb had the following measurements:

Weight: 20 lbs. 2 oz.
Height: 28 1/2 inches
Head: 42 cm


Carly loves anything girly. Here she is fashioning a hair-do, necklace and earrings all designed by herself. (If you look closely you can see her earrings are bobby pins with hair things on them....she is so creative!!!! Why didn't I think of that?) I cannot wait to see what she is like as a teenager.
