The other day was "Hat Day" at Carly's School.
She came home all excited the day before and searched the house for her "favorite" hat . . .
. . . I hope Josh is proud :)
Trying to match an outfit to her hat was impossible, so I just let Carly pick out the rest of her clothes herself. Normally, I have to send her back to her room three or four times before school to put on a different colored shirt, pants or socks--but after seeing the hat she was determined to wear, I decided to let her have one day of independence. Here is a picture of her on "hat day", waiting at the bus stop in front of our house:

That is so awesomly cute! Sometimes being a teacher I wonder if kids parents check what their kids are wearing in the morning....now I see a little bit into the eyes of a mother:) sooo glad I get to see you and Josh more often. Hope it will be even more often soon:)
