Scripture Power!!!

A few days ago Carly came to Josh and me and told us her friends at church have scriptures and she doesn't. So, Josh let her use his scriptures this Sunday and she was so excited to go to church with "new" scriptures.

Here she is trying to lift them up, but they are too heavy to hold up with just one hand. As you may have noticed from this picture Carly got her hair cut. You are probably thinking she got a hold of the scissors and cut her bangs all by herself, but you are wrong. I cut them. It was a decision I made on a whim early Sunday morning. Bad choice. I think I was still half asleep when I actually cut her bangs. I have made a resolution not to cut hair ever again, or at least wait until I am fully awake before grabbing the scissors. Any suggestions on how to make her bangs not look so stupid, or tips to encourage hair growth are GREATLY appreciated.

Caleb LOVES these Thomas the Train pajamas. He calls trains "choo, choos."

James is six weeks old and is growing very quickly. He is starting to wear some 3-6 month clothes already.

K, I'm loving this post! Love that Carly wanted to bring scriptures! So cute! When my kids were super young like her, I went to the distribution center and bought them those super small pocket scriptures (For the military) They were perfect! Just their size! And I didn't even notice the bangs. REALLY. I had to laugh, though, because I have cut my boys' hair only a handful of times and gave up long ago. They all have cowlicks and if your not a professional, their hair turns out super funky. So ... I feel your pain. I cannot believe how old James is already! Didn't you JUST have him?
