Well, here is our new home. Last Wednesday Josh left to make the big move to Billings, Montana for a summer internship. The kids and I did not leave at the same time as him because I had a doctors appointment the following week I could not miss. (doctors orders) The night Josh left he called and told me how beautiful Montana was and after a lengthly description of the terrain, said, "Oh, yeah my truck broke down and I am stuck in Whitehall, Montana." At first I thought he was kidding. But, then he told me the noises his truck made on his coast into Whitehall and I realized he was serious. The mechanic said the engine of the truck had gone out and that it would cost $2,000 to replace it. Normally, we would get the mechanic work done and be on our way, but, for those of you who have not seen our truck....just take my word it was not worth it. Josh spent the next day on the phone with car dealerships located in Butte, trying to find a good deal that could get him to Billings in time for the internship to start; but, had no luck. Instead, he rented a truck and drove to our new home outside of Billings and unpacked. He rented the car for one day and had to return it where he got it from, which was in Butte. So, the next day the kids and I made the drive to meet him and make the rest of the journey to our summer home. I am sure that many of you will laugh when you see the picture of our new home, but it is actually pretty nice inside. Instead of finding a place close to Josh's work, we decided to save money and live outside of town in a cheaper rental. The only down side to Josh's truck dying on us is that it makes the ride in to work a little tricky. But, lucky for us, our neighbors are more than willing to help and have offered two modes of transportation......
